Careprost Eye Drops 0.03%

Careprost Eye Drops 0.03% (known as Lumigan and Latisse in the US) is an ophthalmic solution that lowers the pressure inside your eyes. It is used for the treatment of glaucoma, which causes elevated pressure in your eyes due to increased fluid build up. By increasing the natural flow of fluid out of the eye, careprost helps prevent damage to the optic nerve and vision loss.

The active ingredient in this medication is Bimatoprost, which belongs to the group of medicines called Prostaglandin analogues. It works by enhancing the secretion and drainage of fluids (aqueous humour) from the eye and helps in lowering the intraocular pressure in your eyes. It can be used on its own or in combination with other ophthalmic medications to treat glaucoma, but should only be under the supervision of your local physician.

Some of the side effects of Careprost include itching sensation in the eyes and eye redness. These symptoms should not be confused with allergic reactions and should only last for a short while. It is important to use this medicine regularly, as directed by your doctor, so that you get the most benefit from it.

If you do not see any improvement in your eye pressure after a month of using this medicine, contact your doctor right away. You should also let your doctor know if you are using any other ophthalmic drugs or herbal supplements. Concomitant use of these medications may lead to excessive lowering of your eye pressure. careprost eye drops
