1. You’ll want to make sure that you have suitable reception furniture for clients who are waiting to be treated. Depending on the location of your salon, many people may pass by, and you won’t want to give the wrong impression by having worn out tatty sofas, and chairs that don’t match.

2. You’ll want to make sure that you have the right sort of chairs for your clients and your staff. You might want hairdressing chairs, adjustable chairs or chairs that will be durable enough to withstand life in a busy salon.

3. Your stools will need to be the right height, and suitable for your beauticians to be able to work on your clients.

4. The trolleys you use will need to be big enough to hold all the equipment that your staff will need to use. They’ll also need to be easy to push around and sturdy too.

5. You might need specialised electrical items in order to provide certain beauty treatments. Do you need new equipment in order to give your clients the beauty treatments they want?

6. The couches and massage tables you need will depend on the beauty services you offer. Perhaps you’ll need couches that have adjustable backs, or tables that can be raised or lowered to make it easier for your staff and clients.
