Before she took on the name Spider-Woman in the Marvel Comics universe, Gwen Stacy was a popular character played by Emma Stone in The Amazing Spiderman and Spider-Man 2. In both films she plays Peter Parker’s (Andrew Garfield) love interest and daughter of Chief Police Officer George Stacy. This preppy school girl look is easy to duplicate with a basic white shirt, skirt and knee-high socks. Top off your costume with a backpack or a few textbooks to complete the studious appearance.
When not battling crime, Gwen attends Brooklyn Visions Academy for Computer Science where she meets Miles Morales a.k.a. Spider-Man in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The two form a friendship and help Miles adjust to his new powers. While this version of Gwen is more edgy than her previous one, it’s still the same smart and brave girl you know and love.
